📖 How to Use the Calculator

Using the spreadsheet is designed to be quick and intuitive. Follow these simple steps:

1. Input Your Data:

• Download the excel file GoogleDrive link & Open the MedicinesDiscountCalculator.xls file.
• In Column C, enter the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) for the medicine.
• In Column D, enter the Price paid to the supplier.

2. Automatic Calculation:

• The sheet will automatically calculate the following fields based on your inputs:

  • Column E: The Purchase Price plus the 5% GST.
  • Column I: The Purchase Price plus the 18% GST.
  • Column F & J: The respective Discount Amounts (5%GST in F, 18%GST in J) are automatically calculated.
  • Column G & K: The corresponding Discount Percentage (5%GST in G, 18%GST in K) is automatically calculated.

3. Review and Utilize:

• Review the resulting discount amounts and percentages in Columns F, G, J, K respectively.
• You can now easily log these calculated values for knowing the discount provided by different suppliers.
